1) Who we are

Leadomator LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the controller for personal data processed via the Leadomator website, account portal, licensing/checkout, support, and optional diagnostics from our desktop app. Contact us.

2) What this Policy covers

The Leadomator app runs locally on your device. By default, it does not send your extracted target data to us. This Policy explains what we collect around our website, licensing, payments, support, and optional diagnostics.

3) Data we collect

  • Account & Licensing: name (if provided), email, license key/hash, product/plan, activation status, and events related to license validity.
  • Purchases: handled by Stripe. We receive payment status, amount, currency, last four of card (from Stripe), and invoice metadata. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Website/Portal Analytics: standard logs (IP, user-agent, pages, timestamps) and cookie/analytics events (if you consent where required).
  • Support: messages you send us and any files/logs you attach. Please remove sensitive content before sending.
  • Optional Diagnostics (App): if enabled in settings, crash reports and technical telemetry (OS/version, error codes, performance counters). These are not intended to include page contents or scraped payloads.
  • Communications: your preferences and email engagement (e.g., receipt of license emails).

4) Why we use it (purposes & legal bases)

  • Provide the service / perform a contract: licensing, updates, customer support, purchases, account management.
  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, product analytics (aggregate), measuring feature adoption, improving stability.
  • Consent: non-essential cookies/analytics and optional diagnostics; you can withdraw consent any time in settings or via cookie banner.
  • Legal obligations: tax, accounting, law-enforcement requests where applicable.

5) Retention

We keep account, licensing, and purchase records for as long as you have an active license and as required by law (typically 6–10 years for tax). Support tickets are retained for up to 24 months. Optional diagnostics are kept no longer than 12 months in aggregate form. We delete or anonymize when no longer needed.

6) How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We use service providers who process data for us under contract: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery/helpdesk, hosting/analytics, and error reporting (if enabled). Providers are bound by confidentiality and use limits.

7) International transfers

Where data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and limit access to what’s necessary.

8) Cookies & similar tech

Our website uses strictly-necessary cookies for security and account functions. With consent (where required), we may use analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage preferences via our cookie banner or your browser settings. See our Cookie Notice for details (coming soon).

9) Your rights

To exercise rights, contact us. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

  • Access, rectification, deletion, portability, restriction, objection (where applicable).
  • Withdraw consent at any time for analytics/diagnostics without affecting prior lawful processing.
  • EEA/UK residents: you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
  • California (CPRA): rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to limit use of sensitive information. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by CPRA, nor do we use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risks (encryption in transit, access controls, least privilege). No method is 100% secure; please keep your devices, license keys, and accounts safe.

11) Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

12) App specifics & your responsibilities

The desktop app is designed to run locally. If you enable diagnostics or send us logs/screens, do not include sensitive content or any scraped payloads from third-party sites. You are responsible for your own compliance with site terms and data-protection laws when using the app.

13) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Please check back periodically.
